Sons and Daughters

Like most coffee aficionado’s, I also dream of starting my own little coffee shop, learning everything there is to learn about coffee, educating those around me, roasting my own beans and travelling the world sourcing only the best possible coffee and building relationships with plantation owners and farmers. Glowing every time a friend or foe smiles after a warm sip, lovingly crafted by my hands.

I’m fairly new to all of this and not only do I have to start at the bottom. I want to. If you actually feel that there is something like a bottom. I guess it’s more of a entry point and not all of us enter through the same gate.

Earlier this year I did my barista training and have been helping out at food shows and a small coffee shop since then. This passion has been like the oyster mushrooms I grow in my room. Delighted by the daily progress and splendour it percolates in my being.

So I start by offering my services as a mercenary barista. Early next year I set up a base camp with a pretty pastry partner. All of which will still be brought under your retinal radars and salivating sweet fangs.
